Room Types

Intern housing is available in our brand new Lakeside Village, and interns will have the ability to cook their own meals as all apartments have a full-size kitchen. Summer interns that do not wish to cook will have a wide variety of on-campus dining options including the Food Court and other retail dining locations as well as our resident dining halls. Please note that the summer hours of these establishments are subject to change throughout the summer.

Interns are able to select from the following room options (subject to availability):

Rates

*all interns receive a gym pass, and a parking permit (if bringing a vehicle) as part of their package in addition to the fully furnished apartment, WiFi, and full extra long bed or Twin XL bed.

Payment Information

Full payment is due at the time of your application submission. This amount is collected when submitting your application. We accept all major credit cards (MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and American Express) or company checks.

Sales Tax

Individual Interns: Under Florida Statute 212.03(7)(a) and F.A.C. Rule 12A-1.061, full-time students enrolled in a postsecondary institution are exempt from state sales and transient rental taxes. A copy of your current transcript serves as proof of your full-time enrollment and will waive this tax.

Corporate/Group Bookings: If a company or organization is funding and paying for a block of rooms on behalf of its interns, the corporate entity is responsible for paying Florida sales and use tax.

Refunds

You may cancel your contract, without penalty, up to 30 days before your scheduled arrival. If you cancel within 14-30 days of your arrival, we will refund 50% of your payment only. If you cancel within 14 days of your arrival, do not show, or fail to check into your space, no refund of any monies received by the institution will be given. In order to cancel your contract, you must notify the Conference Services team in writing via email. Changes to your stay may be subject to additional charges, and no refunds will be provided for shortening your stay.

Additional fees may be due within 5 days of your check-out if the room and all included furnishings are not left in the condition they were received, or if the access card is not returned.
