Guidelines and Requirements

Youth Programs and Activities Compliance

The University of Miami (UM) periodically conducts, sponsors, or hosts programs designed to serve minors not enrolled as UM students, including but not limited to camps, clinics, competitions, mentoring, and other activities. UM is dedicated to providing a safe and healthy environment for those who participate, volunteer, and work in University-sponsored programs, or programs operated by third parties held on University facilities. In conjunction with the University of Miami Compliance Services Policy, this policy governs all UM programs involving minors to ensure compliance with federal and state laws and the UM Compliance Services policies.
